One of the people I downloaded sounds from was strangehorizon, who now has both of his pages deleted.

**I would like to know what happened, and where he and his sounds could be now.**

(I heard he left freesound because he lost faith in the site, but I don't know why he left soundcloud. Same reasons?)

Hi, Wayback Machine did track both these URLs. There you will find one social/creative site where this person still has an active account. You could try asking them through that channel.
