Hi from somewhere lol... Well first time here.. I am a guitar player, mostly rock and harder. I found out that most of uploaders work on editing sounds before uploading. That is the right thing. But in my case I prefer to do it just "as I have just played on guitar". What is your opinion? I know that bettering it would sound greater but...

Editing can be quick, like a simple trim and volume adjustment, chop, chop, make it audible export share.
Not a lot of processing is required, for music, sharing a "dry" guitar recording and letting others process it with Compression reverb echoes or other effects is totally cool too and no need to do it on your end

I still recommend trimming the start/end, to skip silences and pressing the recording button and go straight to the guitar. But even then your sound will be very welcome if it's unedited at all! Users already share untouched recordings and contribute greatly to the community!

i thought only sounds are allowed on freesound tho

You're right, Freesound isn't a music platform but a sounds platform.
We would reject a full composition. However loops stems and riffs are welcome, so a dry guitar only track would probably be accepted.
