I have been searching high and low for a particular sound from a horror movie that I cannot recall.
The only way I can describe it is when you stand up too fast and you hear sort of a low whoosh in your head.
I initially thought it was in The Village By M Night Shalaman, but I searched the entire movie a few times with no luck.
All that I can tell you is that it is a bit of a stinger, and the exact moment I recall hearing it was years ago, watching a movie at my ex-wife's. I remember seeing a field (which pointed me at the Village) with some sort of glitchy texture applied to it, in the scene from whichever movie it is. I have heard similar sounds in The Grudge and The Shining. Further words I could use to describe it is a low braam, sort of a glitchy stuttery downer. It is a very distinct sound, and I have searched movie soundtracks and various sound packs from different genres such as horror, cinematic sounds, suspense and the like. Again, I have found some similar sounds, like bass drops, but nothing exactly like it.
If anyone has any ideas of what movie the sound is from I would be very appreciative.
My email is km327%@gmail.com. If you like a good challenge, please please please help me find this sound. I can send similar sounds, or I can even post them here some sort of way. Thank you in advance for your help. In return, I can give you samples from some of the several hundred sound packs I have collected over the years, from different companies. My collection is in the Terabytes.
Help me find this sound!
