I think the sound uploading community would be very happy if Freesound would finally add an option under sound uploads where the author can provide a donate link (Paypal, Ko-fi, Patreon etc... ).
Also, if we already upload sounds, it would be nice if our social media links could have sharing options with logos (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, X (Twitter), You tube, Soundcloud, LinkedIn etc...) so that we don't have to manually type them in HTML.
I think these are not big requests towards Freesound and it would be a win-win situation for everyone.
What do you think ?

On the subject of donations.
One can already link their patron/paypal/stuff in descriptions of sounds, and on their profile "about" section.
What's the nuance with what you're suggesting?

I'm thinking of an eye-catching look with original social media logos. Unfortunately, not everyone is an HTML expert among the uploaders, so a user-friendly interface would be really nice where the uploader can just type in their social media links.
I don't think it's difficult to program these into the website interface and you could support the uploaders to get more followers/customers.
If they have more followers/customers, it will also encourage them to upload more sound effect .
This is what I wrote about, that it would be a win-win situation for everyone. You know what I mean

I think it's worth Freesound thinking about things sometimes, also on the part of people who upload sounds.
That could be a big help I think.
