I'm about to release an album that uses some samples from freesound on one piece. I'd love Freesound to make a proper format for being able to credit the sounds, as sometimes people put very long title/descriptions, which when put onto an album are not really easy to fit on.
It's normal that you describe your sound as best as possible, and that might take quite a few words. However, couldn't Freesound have a section you have to fill in with a simple title for attribution use (limited number of words)?
