I am making a non-commercial video game. Can I use "Free Cultural Works" sounds in a video game?

Is "Free Cultural Works" related to "Editorial Use" licensing?

I think you can use any sound here for a none commercial work, including your video game.
I think the "approved for free cultural works" is a combo filter of either CC0 or Attribution only.
If your game is none commercial, you can also use the "Attribution Non-commercial" sounds.

Only depending on the licence, you'd have to add credits to the sounds. For example :
Following sounds found on Freesound.org :
"Thanks to X user for Y sound" (Y being the number associated to the sound ?)
(Repeat)

The only exception here would be CC0, where you're free to use without crediting (would be kind to still credit tho smile

Am not a lawyer nor a legal expert, I'm barely something.

CC0 Be a hero.
