Is it fine if you upload your own rendition or cover of a song that is copyrighted by a publisher as a short audio? I recreated the guitar riff from a song in BeepBox, which in this case is copyrighted by Warner Music Group, but is it fine to upload the audio? It did mention you can upload audio you made yourself even if was took from a song and edited to the point where it is unrecognizable. I didn't make the song but I remade the guitar riff that repeats throughout the entire song in BeepBox as a short audio clip for personal use only. Jut wanted to make sure. It was never mentioned in the FAQ or anything

I mean, I have saw people here on Freesound do it before (one person IIRC made a ringtone version of a famous French(?) song I believe is copyrighted)
