Hello, i've seen some questionable acts of people selling sounds (Individually, or in packs) that were released under the CC0 license (Not claiming them as their own, mind you). That, while still legal, is an incredibly selfish move in my opinion. Now, it doesn't affect me right as of now because all i've uploaded are a bunch of sounds made from data bending and some simple Audacity sounds, but i'm worried it might be a problem in the future. So, the question is this. If i release a sound under the CCBY-NC, and link a document to where i state that you CAN use the sound on commercial projects as long as you don't sell the sound(s) individually or part of another group of sounds as a bundle, would one be able to use it for commercial purposes (Like in a game or movie) or would they still be legally restricted by the license to not use it in one?

In short, yes you can do that but It's complicated so have a read through the following material...

https://creativecommons.org/faq/#can-i-change-the-license-terms-or-conditions

And directly underneath that paragraph...

https://creativecommons.org/faq/#can-i-waive-license-terms-or-conditions

Make sure you follow the link to the "CC+ protocol" page because it has some important info and guidance for doing this.

I am the thing that goes bump in the night...
