Hey everyone!

My second short film including incredible sounds from you is now online!

The film is about memories and each memory has its own characteristic sound, so thanks a lot for helping me out to bring my screenplay to life!

If you want you can check it out here: https://youtu.be/CQLl2iP0S6A
Would really appeciate it.

Have fun!

Best,

Great film, I really enjoyed it. Nicely surreal. The lack of dialogue paired with an intense soundtrack gave it a dream-like quality. And the slow quiet dark of the present time room makes for a powerful contrast.

Thanks a lot! Really glad you like the concept and ideas that went into the project grin

It's really a movie that triggers a lot of feelings. Indeed it is dreamlike to watch. I was hooked the whole time - it's never boring. The idea with the drawing that changes into a real life scene looked very good and suprised me. The ending... perfect. Keep it up and let us know when there's more smile

Things that confused me s little bit... not sure if real or just my perception:
- Laptop keyboard strokes not in sync with finger movement.
- Footsteps in the underwood sound too near.
- Scribble sounds while using wax crayons sound like a lead pencil and are not in sync with scribble movements.

*bothThumbsUp* Vibes!

Wow! Great film...
I have recently taken a film making course for my Graphic arts degree and I can say no one in the class did work of this caliber...

BTW: the hopeless romantic in me was hoping Doran had the chance to catch and stop Noora from leaving during the revers scene where he went back to the woods...

Great wok though!

Cheers!

Even though my reply comes a bit late (weird that I didn't get an email notification) I really appreciate your feedback and really happy that you like it!

You are probably right regarding the sounds. I didn't record any reference sounds and edited in every sound in post. So async and not perfectly fitting sounds can happen unfortunately, but I'll try to improve on that!

If you are interested in my latest project, I just released a new short film. Even though, this was more of a run and gun film, and not planned out as A Walk In Time, I would say it's definitely worth a watch (of course I would say that ;D)

Sorry for the late reply, but thank you! It really motivates me, to see people liking the film.
If you have anything to show what came out of your course, I would be more than happy to watch it smile

And yeah, understandable that you hoped for it, but maybe that's the dramatic-plot-loving person in me, that would never create such an happy ending xD
