Check out my new utility app that implements the Freesound API, Vybit: https://www.vybit.net. I created it for developers (or really anyone who knows how to use webhooks) to be able to send custom sound notifications. It's totally free to use and all sounds are credited and linked to the freesound users. Also for those of you who use IFTTT there is a Vybit action channel in the works (in the meantime you can use Vybit with IFTTT's webhooks channel). Android and iOS apps are available, or just try it out in your browser. Comments, questions, suggestions, etc. are very welcome! Thanks for checking it out, I hope you find it useful!

So now it is accessible to non-developers. Please check it out (it's FREE). Now you can use your sounds for notifications!
