There is a cryptic clue.

Most ppl dont mind leaving it open,some ppl prever covering it up. Maybe its the latest fashion,maybe its saver that way.

Sometimes it can be practical or unpractical if you out and about.

Its defiantly something in the kitchen please can any one help

Is it a can being opened/Can Opener?

Yeah, I listened to it. It sounds like something opening or metal scraping against other metal, it works with the kitchen theme. Lots of people leave cans out in the open, but some put them in pantries. Lots of companies use cans now, because it's pretty space-efficient, the food stays fresher, and with the newest design they're very safe. It's easy and practical to open if at home because you probably have a can opener, but hard if you're away and don't have one.

How about giving us a link to the cryptic-clue ?, (or a verbatim quote).

Hi you have to listen to the station every morning. Are you from south Africa? If you go to jacaranda.com and put in secret sound there is previous mp3 recordings that gives all the recorded close guesses and the cryptic clues XXX
