Hi technical team,

When you search at 'klankbeeld' you get 4485 sounds.
When you search at 'klankbeeld bridge' you get 6232 sounds.

I think that is a mistake. Normaly (untill yesterday) you get less sounds.

A big problem for mee because I use this old search system in my sound descriptions.
(look under the picture here: https://freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/sounds/650702/

I hope you can fix that

regards

Yes, true !
It seems the search engine became additive instead of restrictive...

Hi klankbeeld, kevp888,

Thanks for reporting this change. We are in the process of upgrading the search engine (we were using a very old version) and some configuration options might have been missed during the upgrade. We're actually only half-way in this upgrade so we're still working on this. We have some checks to see if results are similar when we compare search engines, but apparently we did not notice this change in particular so far. I think I know how to fix this issue and it will be fixed in the comming days. Meanwhile, to get the restrictive behaviour you can formulate your query like klankbeeld AND bridge and it will work as expected.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi all, thanks for the report. This has been fixed, and search terms are now additive again. "klankbeeld bridge" returns only 117 results.
