technical question:

How do you create the waveform we see on the screen? would it be possible to click on parts of the waveform and make it jump to a new part of the sound just like they do it in soundminer?

get an audio editor. just about any sequencing software will do this or any looping software-

many here use audacity. its free and fairly easy to use.
