From another computer, I was able to see a play button (and what I suppose is a loop button) just above the waveforms. Now that I'm home, I don't see these buttons, so I can't audition the samples. My monitor isn't great so resolution is set to 1152x864 - 24 bit color. This probably isn't the cause. Can someone help?

make sure you have macromedia flash installed.
