I'm trying to edit my profile picture to a different one I drew, but it won't change. When I removed it and then tried uploading a different one, it went back to the old one. I have a new computer and don't even have the old image saved on here.

I have the exact same issue.

Taking a stab in the dark here, but I think you just need to wait for your new picture to "connect with the servers", or whatever technical server stuff is going on behind the scenes.

Sometimes, when updating a description for example, it can take some time for the update to actually appear on this site. The same is true for changing profile pictures.

If it hasn't changed within a few hours, drop another post here!

This description seems to be accurate. My new profile picture was activated after a few hours.

Same as experiencing issues.

Are you using Google Chrome as your browser?

There's an issue with cached images not updating. It updates on our server and for everyone else, but the browser still shows the old cached image for you; so it looks like it hasn't updated.

Go to your browser setting, under "privacy & security" go to "delete browsing data". Select "cached images & files" and then delete that data. Your profile image should update for you.
