Hello, today I'm having a fair bit of dead time where the website just won't load and show a "404 Not found nginx" on the web-page.
Be it on the home menu, on a sound, forum post etc...
Happens on both my phone and my Laptop, but I can go on the rest of the web without problems so I presume it's a internal issue.
Am I the only one having this problem?

Just happened again, but I tried moderating / approving a sound, and for a second time it didn't approve it and I lost my message to the user. Due to it going on "404" after updating the ticket :c
whenever i try to make my profile picture a picture of me it crashes freesound but i didnt think it would happen for other people!
i think its because people on freesound arent allowed to make their profile picture a picture of real life people
Yes. There is such a problem. 404 drops consistently. I just managed to log in.
Hi everyone,
For the last 1-2 days we've been having problems with some servers at university level, so Freesound has been intermittently unaccessible. These servers are out of our control, but we've been told by the maintainers of these servers that the problems have been solved (about an hour ago), and we should expect normal behavior now.

but why cant i make my profile picture a picture of me
@luamoon: I’m not sure, but Maybe because you’re still young.
I mean, as you’re not an adult yet, you’re probably not allowed to handle your right to the image / image reproduction by yourself. Usually, if someone wants to publish pictures of children on the web, one must have the parents’ agreement.
This is to protect children, notably against illegal/unappropriate use of their pictures.
If you’re interested, maybe should you ask about that matter to your parents (or any adult you trust) ?

It seems like why I can't change my profile picture isn't because of I can't make my profile picture an image of children, even if it's not a picture of me, my profile picture won't change, I checked the console, "Pictures loaded lazily and replaced with placeholders"
Maybe you shouldn't change anything about your profile picture. Everyone is used to it. I never change my picture for that reason either.
I think your picture is fine!

I like minecraft so ill keep my picture
