as it says the sites REFUSES to let me login with pale moon I MUST use a chromium browser, what gives?

You can access Freesound with Firefox, which is not a chromium based browser...

Hi BlindedJM

As far as I know freesound is compliant with current W3C standards and seems compatible with all the mainstream browsers, Firefox(my default), MSedge, chrome, internetexplorer, safari etc. etc.

A first step might be to check on Pale Moon's web sites and blogs, and then if unresolved send them a bug report.

Errors between(apparently) compliant browsers and web sites happen all the time. It's very often because of the user's security or privacy settings. You could try temporarily changing these.

For a relatively obscure browser you're more likely to get answers from the browser developer rather than from the troublesome websites. (value-return for effort ratio)

Good luck sorting this out.
