Tascam DR680 Mk2 and two contact microphones.
I hit the railing with fists, sticks, stones and also kicked and scraped with various objects and my hand.
A slight post-production, I removed the noise generated by the piezo pickups and used a compressor to slightly weaken the attack so that the impacts would not be like needles being inserted in the ear :)
