Fishermen removing fishnet from a Bangka.
I made this recording in the morning, in Tacligan (near San Teodoro, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines), while fishermen were removing a fishnet (with some fishes inside) from their Bangka, which is a small wooden outrigger canoe.
In the background, sea waves, cicadas, some birds, and sounds from the surroundings.
Recorded in August 2025 with a Zoom H5studio (built-in XY microphones).
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.

Yes, this traditional human activity would probably disappear within the next years or decades,
As my wife and I were walking on the beach along this fishing village at sunrise, I couldn’t resist to grab this !
